01 Nov Code Pink Lady Warriors Basketball Official First Season Spring 2018
Our Code Pink Girls Mentoring Program branched out of our typical sports and skills efforts to build our first AAU Girls Basketball Team in Spring of 2018. With Coaches who have played in the NCAA, Coached on Varsity High School level for over 10 years we knew that with our desire to help mentor young girls and our love for the Game of Basketball we could build a team that will allow and teach our girls how to become productive citizens on and off the court.
We work to instill the importance of Education, Volunteering, Self Confidence and Commitment to any and everything you lend you name and effort to. Our team is designed to help build, develop, and grow players who have the desire to commit 100% to becoming a better basketball player and person. We believe that a true testament to a Great Coach is your ability to develop a player from one level to the next and not just pick players that are already great or considered among the elite. We pride our team on being a team where each girl will get better and be better at the end of the season because they will have improved their skill and confidence in themselves as a person and player. We work to ensure that the cost remain low through fundraising, donations and program events that will benefit each girl in the program. We are building a 10th grade 15U Team that will practice in the Plano/McKinney Texas Area and that will travel out of the DFW area for a minimum of 2 tournaments during the season.
Our Coaches and Founder are committed to this being a great experience for the girls, their families and the organization.
We had a great first season we learned, we grew and we became Code Pink Lady Warriors Basketball Family who is looking forward to our 2nd Season in Spring of 2019.
