04 May A Holiday Makeover Dream Event was a Success
On December 14, 2014 we at Code Pink Productions, Inc. chose to honor 2 children and 2 women who were battling Cancer with Full Make Overs and a opportunity to “Rip the Runway” with outfits provided by Code Pink Productions, Inc. and Fashion Designer “Christian Allana”. The event was an opportunity for us to give our Honorees a day where it was about them and not the disease they are currently fighting, they were also given a mini-photo shoot that was donated courtesy of So So City Photography.
We collected new and gently used coats and toys that we donated to City House Children’s Home in Plano, Tx. It was a day of giving and celebration as our entertainment singer “Mokah Soulfly” & actress “Destiny Washington” performed for our guest. Videography of the event was donated courtesy of Monte Carlo Street Productions and Event Music courtesy of DJ Boladi both of the DFW Area.
We had several vendors representing brands such as “It Works”, “Visalus”, “Mary Kay” and “So Cluthed Handbags”
Finger foods were donated and catered by “KJ’s Supreme Catering” & “Phat Daddy’s” and delectable sweets from “Delicious to the Soul”
Swag Bag gifts donated courtesy of “Emli Shops”
Honoree Gifts provided by: “Dallas Cowboys” & “Found Freedom Online Boutique”
Make over Hair and Make Up donated by:
Melva Williams (Hairstylist), Nadjya (Hair & Make Up), Lena (Make Up), Candace (Hair) and Mel B (Stylist)
This awesome “Giving Back Event” was held at Brown Lane Studios of Dallas and was a success as we accomplished what we set out to which was to have each honoree and attendee leave feeling inspired, happy and ready to take on the next day of life with a positive attitude and spirit.
We would like to thank each and every donor, honoree and attendee because without you this event would not have been a success. We plan to put on more events as this one in the years to come and ask for your support with the programs that Code Pink Productions, Inc. offers. We work to tackle several different issues that currently plague our communities and we would love your support in our efforts.
Our motto is “We become better as a community through our selfless acts that we perform for others”
