This year we gave away not one, but two scholarships to very deserving students who have worked hard AND served well – they are very much deserving. Also, like in years past, we were able to gift family and friends who have survived or were battling cancer and other life threatening diseases. Celebrating people while they are here and while they can still smell the flowers is so important. Honoring those who have passed on, is paramount as well. Both of these are the reasons that we celebrate year after year.

The line up was so great, we had well known comedians Fatimah Taliah, Marlon Mitchell, and Baldhead Phillips and of course both Mokah Soulfly and Monique Muhammad hosted and blessed the stage with a couple of selections. It was truly fantastic from our vendors, to our entertainment, the food was so delicious, and the vibes were perfect and maintained by Dj Boladi. The night was filled with love and inspiration, it was truly magical – as it always is!

Code Pink Productions, for 19 years has celebrated the life of our founder Monique J. Muhammad as well as her mother Gloria Muhammad. Each year the event has grown to include a multitude of survivors of all different types of cancer, not just breast cancer. We also celebrate those who are fighting now and your donations and sponsorships go toward our many programs that not only support those who are battling, but also sever other worthwhile causes in our communities.

It’s that time of year again as we celebrate the life of our founder, Monique Muhammad and honor the life of her mother Gloria Muhammad. 19 years and counting – what a blessing to still be here and in good health. We also lift up and honor other women and men who are battling various forms of cancer or life threatening illnesses, as well as those who have transitioned.

Every year gets better and better. Be ready for some amazing food, drinks, and entertainment from singing to comedy. It’s always a wonderful time and an even more amazing cause. This yearly event allows us to fund our programs that we run throughout the year including donating to cancer research, supporting those who are battling in various ways, feeding the homeless, and providing services to women who are in need of help to level up professionally.
