13 years ago our founder and her mother were diagnosed with Breast Cancer(Founder age 32) and Colon Cancer(Mother age 56) they both were told their Cancer went into remission in early 2004 hence the birth of the 1st Annual Celebration of Life. Our founder organized this event to bring awareness to the effects of Cancer on women of all ages, celebrate the stories of survivors, and give others the opportunity to honor any loved ones lost to this horrible disease.
In 2009 our founders Mothers Cancer returned and quickly took her life. This led us to work even more diligently to raise funds and awareness by providing education on Cancer and its effects in our community. We work to provide information on what can be done to stay healthy and help prevent this disease from taking the lives of more and more people each year.
We choose to celebrate life in a event that is packed with entertainment in the form of Comedy, musical performances, raffles, great food, music and inspiration. Funds raised are used to support Code Pink Productions, Inc. and its many programs that help give support to our children, low income families, medical research fundraising and small business building. A portion of the proceeds from this event every year is used to help Cancer survivors, current fighters or the research efforts of larger organizations with the same cause.
Please share our fundraiser with your friends and family. Donations will aide our organizations efforts and any amount donated will help defray some of cost of putting on this wonderful gala as well as our organizations programs. We appreciate any size donation as it all will push us much closer to achieving our goals.
Thank you for your time and God Bless!
